Trust God America!

This morning I was. Listening to Paul Ryan’s address to the Heritage Foundation on the proposed Tax Reform Bill. It’s a very important Bill for the Country! (I’ve shared his address on FaceBook!). While Paul was speaking, I was quietly praying for him. It then dawned on me how great the difficulty has been with his necessary alignment with President Trump, and I prayed for that relationship too.
You know, the Bible teaches us that God’s Holy Spirit takes residence in the heart of EVERY believer of Christ. The HS nestles in next to our own spirit to comfort and counsel us! The Bible call his attempts to talk to us “that still small voice”!
While praying for Paul and President Trump’s “relationship”, God whispered to me in that way! Here is basically what I believe He said:
No man has the ability to judge the quality or depth of another man’s relationship with God! God has asked us to judge others by their fruit! Not their past year’s fruit, which may not have the same characteristics of today’s, not of future fruit which we know nothing of, but today’s fruit. We should also remember that we are not to judge the man’s relationship with God which is impossible to do, but only his fruits. We are not to judge him on what “others say about him”, but on “his current behavior and the results”. Not on behavior in his past, but now! We have all been made with the same clay, but given different characteristics and gifts. God uses us not in spite of our gifts, but because he has put them in us for His purpose! Some have bigger Egos and are more forward and more confident. Others are more humble, are quieter and seem unsure! God has a purpose for each believer, and each Nation! It is not our role to judge others characteristics personally, but only by the present fruit they’re producing! Let Trump be Trump, let’s trust God and let’s be who and what God wants US to be!
