An Open Letter to the Whitehouse

Dear Mr. President:

I write this letter (first in the hope it somehow miraculously reaches you) and in the hope that it will be of some encouragement to you and yours, not only in this Holiday Season of Christmas, but throughout your day! I am an average American 70 year-old Retiree. My wife and I have been struggling (financially) but have experience at least a little relief since you took office, and we appreciate it very much! I am a Christian, and God has brought me to a place where I gladly spend Devotional time with twice daily. As a matter of practice, I pray for all of those in authority over us. Naturally that would include you. The last few weeks, I’ve been drawn back to two Bible chapters in the Book of Psalms. Psalms 31 & 35. These are both written by King David and at a time when he was in great distress. Mr. President, every time I read these two chapters, I think of you and your family. I know how difficult your opposition made your life daily. It is my hope that you read these chapters frequently because, I think that “for now”, these are FOR YOU. Please know that we will continue to pray for you EVERY DAY.
