Finally! A Miracle Cure!

We understand that Scripture teaches us about God being eternal. I can imagine eternity as an endless river. Sometimes the terrain is such that it is slow and peaceful, almost boring if you will. Sometimes it is rapids and whitewater! Most of us never see its’ beginnings, and often we rarely see its’ mouth as it empties itself into a large body of water. Our perception is finite. We only see that portion of the river we happen to stumble upon. While laying back on our inner tube, floating along down a peaceful creek, we may take time to thank God for the peace and rest. However, when we find ourselves being hurled from wave to wave, rock to rock in whitewater, seemingly at peril, we always ASK FOR GOD’S Protection. This is true of Believers and non-believers! As the old adage goes, “there are no atheists in fox holes”!

Why am I emphasizing our finite perspective? I think it’s good to remember that the incidents we experience in life are just snapshots of one piece of that river at a time! We don’t know what the river looks like a few mile up or down Stream! Just as it is in our life experiences, we often can’t figure out the why’s and where’s of our problems (or blessings) beginnings, or their endings. The only thing we can be absolutely sure about, and find lasting peace with is; that our relationship with an eternal God, who has all these answers, is ON OUR SIDE. Through it all, we can have His Peace, the Peace that passes all understanding. That Peace is worth the relationship.

So, the eternal God of Creation came to us in human form and was named Jesus (God With Us). And “God With Us” told us that the only way to God the Creator and eternity was through him! To acknowledge that “He” Is. (I AM) And that He Loves you and is seeking YOU! After He died for us, was resurrected, rose from the dead & ascended to the Father, He sent the Holy Spirit to dwell in those who BELIEVE IN HIM. So you see, we can have peace and comfort through life.
