In the late 1950s we made some decisions. We did the following:
We cut back on going to Church so much and spent more time watching Network Productions on TV and at the Theater instead.
We listened to Dr. Spock tell us that discipline was bad for our kids, so we became their “best friends” instead of Mom & Dad.
As we watched the Liberal Networks Entertainment (which belittled all “Old Fashioned” Authority figures like Police Officers, Clergymen, Parents and Grand-Parents), we watched our children’s respect for the same decrease.
We began to believe a comment made frequently “that our children were smarter than we were”!
We grew our Schools into a National Institution that actually believes they have more rights about the children and what they’re taught than the parents do.
Having willingly walked away from the core values of previous generations, we can no longer clearly define the obvious! Like; What is a Family, What is a male or female, what is a disease, What is Responsibility. Basically, WHAT IS RIGHT & WRONG!
Where we had peaceful neighborhoods, schools, towns, cities & villages, we have crime ridden war zones!
So, here is my question America:
How’s it going?
Still think we made the right decision turning down that Liberal Path?
