I know of a few people who live in a constant state of “Not Giving a Damn”! In my thoughts, (never verbalized), I categorize them as “I DON’T GIVE A DAMMERS”! Most are older people, but not all. Most are male, but there are some woman! If you don’t agree with them, or even if you don’t thrillingly support their opinion, they say “I don’t give a damn what you think” which is often followed by “you stupid son of a !*@%&, or something similar! After one or two confrontations, they then decide to drop the “offender” from their life. The causes of these attitudes are numerous and usually hidden to most! If you are one of these people, here is a possible solution:
Sometimes you find a warm fire in the midst of an ice storm that feels so good. It’s like a flood of peace that surrounds your cold soul and lifts it to floating where the troubles are few and the presence of God is overwhelming.
Find some time to spend with God! You WILL feel better!
