A Personal Need for Prayer

It’s been a decade of God leading Caryl and me through a wilderness of sort! We’ve suffered heart attacks, 911 causing our Family Business loss and forcing the sale of our home, cancer, more heart problems including a terminal diagnosis, a call to a new Church Family followed by a call to move again, surviving a severe auto accident, and finally, what we hope will be a somewhat final call to resettle.

Waiting is apparently something God is trying to teach us. We have struggled with this, and the enemy, I believe, has been taking advantage of our weakness during this darkness. In the past few weeks, i have felt distant from God, even though I’ve prayed more than ever. After my morning’s devotion, I turned to read the new postings in Face Book. One of the first was a Christian Org. Post about “Trusting God in he Storm”!

I immediately asked God to help us in our unbelief! I now am asking those who know us, and are believers, to pray that we would have sufficient patience to wait on God’s timing and for His lead so we don’t launch out on our own! Thanks in advance for your prayers.
