Those who seriously read the Bible see that in both the Old and New Testaments, God desires that his creation “enter into His rest” and live in peace. It’s a simple plan, perhaps too simple! Instead of simply accepting His offer, we insist upon building walls of division that He must remove. His son came 2013 years ago to remove ALL THE DIVIDING WALLS with two simple commandments. Love your God and, Love your neighbor! Christianity is (or should be) based solely on these. Religious people have dragged Christianity away from being the GOOD NEWS back to building walls. Many who claim to be touting Christ, are no better than the other major religions of the day. You cannot love your God or your neighbor while creating havoc in the world! It doesn’t matter if you’re calling for Jihad or causing needless heartbreak to those who disagree with you, both are without love. If we want our airports to be more like they used to be, if we want our schools to be safe again, if we want our world to have fewer wars, the simple answer still lies before us. We must believe Jesus (the Son of God) and simply Love our God and Love our neighbor. So simple, but so impossible for the human race for a multitude of reasons, pride being at the top of the list. Perhaps we could give up doing things our own way and try the Son of God’s Way.
